Peter Thiel has certainly been an antagonist of higher education for 35 years so he went to Stanford in the 80s law school there. He wrote a book called the diversity myth in the 90s about some of the issues surrounding identity politics and curriculum. Once he had made substantial amount of wealth by you know 2008 he had thought about starting a new university but decided it was just too risky and too difficult. The creative moment is when they say yeah we're gonna pay a hundred thousand dollars to people they got to be 19 and under and they can't be enrolled in school that is a real left turn in this debate about higher education I actually said September 27th that was a Monday on Friday that week
