The History of the Beginnings of Space Exploration

The history of some of thiss as you've talked about another mc curdy and elanius have also talked about, notably, that people like willie lay and von brown were immigrants coming into the united states. And i wonder if that's how it kind of came in with that idea. As far as i know, i'm no expert on the whole history of the beginnings of space exploration. But as far as i understand, robert goddard simply wanted to prove that he could build and launch rockets.
