Is There a Difference Between Variant and Tuple?
I think if we'd had a notion of language level tuples or variants at the advent of C, it would have drastically changed the past. If we had both variant and tuple from the get go, I think you would see far fewer output parameters. It also would have really changed how we do error handling. There's so many C style libraries that just return error code as their only return value.
