Catherine and John Killy, a Jolly Woman and a Very Jovial Woman.
Catherine and john were common law married at this point. They drifted together, anne solo, in and out of workhouses and lodging houses. She would often beg and borrow money from her daughters, who were now grown. So that was a difficult relationship that she was navigating. In the summer of 18 88, they walked forty miles together with tons of other workers from london to kent to do hop picking,. A lot of people from london and whitechapel did this. And coming back, they left september 20, seventh, without a lot to show for it.
