Is the Spiral Staircase a Suicide?
Frank Frenchy Roshas was found dead the day after Christmas in 1894 by Dan Fitchett and Oliver Lee Howe Hand. The coroner's jury of La Luz and nearby village ruled the gunshot wound, self-inflicted. Friends believed that he was deliberately killed as there had been previous attempts on his life.
