The house dates back to Tudor times, that sort of 16th century and the Reformation. The owner is buried vertically in the grounds of the house because he was a violent man. And there have been accounts by a number of people staying at the house that they hear the sound of someone moving around the corridors at night. They can also hear the sounds of doors opening and closing.
