Smell and Taste Loss in Children
Of the people tho get infection, about 60 % get a smell and taste loss as a symptom. Of those, about ten to 15% go on to have persistent symptoms that last more than four weeks. Increasingly, we see more and more younger people, and now children, being affected by the these ir smell disorders. And for the first time, i've been seeing teen ages in my clinic, which term i have never seen ages with viror smell lost in the last two decades. That's quite significant.
