The King's Sunday Leans to the One Who Is True, Truly King, Not David

The psalm is a clear recognition of the failure of t the davidic covenant. I would encourage folks to be intentional, like your saying, mat, if they're going to try to do all these verses as pointing to god is king and not lingering in anything that would romanticize the kingships of  david.
