How to Extinguish the Sun?

If you were a super villain and you wanted to take out the sun, how would you do it? Can you extinguish it, like he said, or turn it off somehow? Well, it depends on how you extinguish the sun. We might not all die, but i think most of us would definitely die. Then, couldn't we use like, energy from the core of the earth, like, woul n the earth stay kind of nice and warm, at least at the center for a while?
