The Power of Music in Low Heart Rate Training

We go into what's called an autopilot, which is a network of brain areas that comes together to multitask. When we run, we don't have to think about flexing our hip to bring our leg forward and then hit the ground with our foot. We've already done that when we were one year old or two year olds. Our brain is meant to multitask all the time whether it's conscious or subconscious. It works better because alpha, you know, it's sort of a relaxed awareness that state of alpha.
