Robots are being used in a lab to test new ways of making battery cells. The hope is that the robots will be able to work 24/7, and then use artificial intelligence to take the next step. If they can do this all night every mixing materials together, testing the results, discarding mixtures that don't work, then by the time people come in to start assembling battery cells for testing, the cake is ready to bake first time around.
