Mormon culture is built on a facade of everything's great and we play into it because it increases our value in the community does that make sense absolutely. People always say how do they get you to pay 10% of your income and i'm like you don't understand the culture We pay more than 10% of our income because we pay it to our local leaders who are generally our friends so if you want to keep up with the jones, the easiest way to perceive that giant sasad is to write a bigger check for your tithing.
