Do You Know What's Normal or Ominous Tracing?

When there's a late deceleration, mean the fetal heart tone decreases after the unit contraction. That's generally a bad sign and is a sign of uro placental insufficiency. The ACOG does recommend if it's possible to monitor the tones before, during and after an interaxial placement. But in this situation, unfortunately, I would probably not recommend a CSE during a non-reassuring fetal heart tone situation.
