How Did You Get to Guyana?

"I think of myself as Canadian as a result. I got to a place and I remember very clearly realizing I don't understand how it works here," he says. "It took sort of recognizing that these were learnable things, but like studying them a little bit." He was raised by his grandmother in Guyana before joining his mother in Toronto at age seven.
