i would much rather see pleasure as and desire as being in this n excess of like, activity, rather than as a state of consciousness. I'm glad you brought it up, the death drive as a as being kind of a response, in a certain way, to the subject under capitalism,. That's the way blanchfield's kind of conceiving it. And what i liked about that was, for me, it kind of brought about this paradox about the death drive - how can a being driven by the pleasure principle also want to destroy itself, which means no more pleasure?
