The federal government does not have plenary policing power, but the states do. That's a very simple legal argument as to why the federal government should have never been involved in abortion in the first place. And then let the people decide whether the states are over or overstepping their bounds and making that decision. I'm saying that should be the dividing issue. This should get people thinking about, what's the role of the federal government? What's therole of the state government?" he said.
