Specifying Bolts in the Field?
The biggest downside to bolting is that torque isn't tight. Torque can be tight, but you have to keep the fasteners in the as-delivered condition. Training the crafter are some of the more typical or critical things we need to look after in the field. Just because the gun saw doesn't mean we've tension bolts.
