The Dangers of Apathy
Apathy is a persistent loss of emotion to do things or lack of interest in things. It's different from depression because apathy is much more common among people with, let's say, dementia than people without it. Apathetic people are so easily identified by their passivity. They don't just care enough; they just don't care that they don't care.
