Is This a Comet?

On new year's day, 18 o one piazzi noticed a tiny dot in the heavens. As was his method, he observed it again the following night and it had moved. After two more nights of observation, he thought he might have identified something new which might perhaps be a comet. Yet that was customary. It wasn't like he was a, a a glory hound.
