Getting Too Philosophical About a Game

A lot of times it feels like the game should succeed exist in this middle space where you can't exactly explain Why philosophically it all hangs together? Like if you have some grand theory and like how games are supposed to work It ends up being too extreme in one way or another. But there was a moment in Deus X where I wanted Jc didn't had been knocked out and all of his stuff taken away. We were gonna put you in prison. You can break out get your stuff back um reset you. And I wanted Anna Navarre Walk over to the cell that he was in and talk to him cat and mouse like she's in control. A very simple little level design thing
