The boy began to shake violently, falling to his knees and scraping the dirt below him. He looked like he was having an asthma attacker, a seizure. I started to run to the boy in order to help but stopped after a couple of steps. His mother had run out. She was a frail, haggard woman with a gray, knotted mane of hair on her head. It looked as if she hadn't had a proper meal for ages.
