The War of the Fourth Coalition

Economic warfare has been a part of human conflict since the dawn of history. In Europe, in the Middle Ages, this was often done for strategic reasons. The economic destruction wrought by pre-modern and early modern armies could be horrifying but it tended to be limited. Late November 1806 would see the War of the Fourth Coalition escalate in a way no conflict in history ever had before.
