Ambulatory Blood Pressure Monitoring: What Is the Difference?

The gold standard to distinguish white coat high blood pressure, which is I have high blood pressure in the office, but my blood pressures are normal at home, is to use an ambulatory blood pressure monitor. An ossolometric device goes around the arm, kids wear it for 24 hours and it records blood pressure. And we get lots of data from it. A good set of measurements is 40 to 50 measurements in a 24 hour period, both during the day and at night.
