CRISPRD Pride Editing: An Alternative to the Classic CRISP

Hijang Kui convinced the parents of these two girls to get them CRISPRD. He said he could prevent the girls from getting HIV by mutating the gene that is responsible for encoding the receptor for HIV. The idea is that you remove the receptor and HIV goes in and can't find anything to grab onto so the girls become immune. But you do that, but now you give them cancer. We're not quite sure where that's going right now.
