The Fed's Decision to Suspend the Ceiling on Government Deficit Spending
The national debt is going to hit 50 trillion but it was 10 years from now probably a lot sooner than that and he said the Powell at some point or when are you going to say something about these deficits to Congress. "Once again Powell completely copped out right he's a chicken right not a hawk or you know a chicken hawk," says Peter Navarrette, former chairman of the Federal Reserve. The Fed wouldn't have such a massive balance sheet if we weren't running these big deficits according to Yellen in a hearing just the other day with congressmen asked her what plan she had for when the Chinese dump their treasuries.
