The Triumph of Robert Burton
John Gillgood had got to know Burton a little bit and it was suggested to him I think that he might want to do a play celebrating Shakespeare's quarter centenary this is 1964. The two actors came together and it just took off the idea was floated that they were doing in America. Both on Fiddleman on stage I should say to be released later this year. Oh very exciting Robert I'll start with you because you break the piece this production was booze booze addled as you say in the piece it was fraught and disastrous but was also a triumph.
