The Essence of Good Music Is Not to Play the Same Tune the Whole Time
I know what it feels like to make myself work. Because I feel I ought to, and that there are times in my life where because of the agreements I've made with either coworkers or friends or with myself that I choose to do deep work. But then I can also feel when I retreat into my work to avoid things in my life that make me emotionally uncomfortable. And so it's about like listening to when you're bullshitting yourself and this is why I'm so big on journaling.
