I wanted to respect the classicism of the 20s and obviously like this time period, but I never wanted to trap the characters and the world into the 20s as if it was a documentary. So in that sense, we worked on music and costumes, especially to be really always really relatable. The book and the film both contained their fair share of sex. And so finally we wondered what was it like to film the sex scenes in 2022? It has to be vibrant and imminate. That was just with the help of my great collaborators"
