McAfee and Kyle Sandler's Deal to Buy MGT Capital

MGT Capital was once a penny stock, but surged tenfold earlier this year on the announcement that it had signed none other than McAfee. The SEC formally sued a group of MGT shareholders a little over two years later for pumping up the price of MGT and two other companies in a similar way. Today, MGT trades for about one cent a share down more than 99% from its value at the time McAfee gloated about boosting the stock.
