Is the Inspired Word of God Equal to the Inspired Scripture?

Some of these questions will take just a minute to set up, so I'll warn you in advance if that happens. First, let's just work through where we can agree in our view of Scripture. Can we agree that public divine revelation ceased with the deaths of the apostles? It ceased with the death of the apostles or the last apostolic man, probably some time at the end of the first century. Why should I accept that which isn't the inspired Word of God to be equal in authority to that which is theinspired Word of God? Because it's the Word of God.
