How to Write a History of the Middle Ages?
How do we write a history that speaks to the present day in some way, while still being true to the period of time in question? Ye, that that's a very interesting question. I thought about that conceptually when i was i was designing the book. This is called a new history of the mdle ages. What does that word knew me? There are some approaches that i considered. One approach i considered pretty hard before deciding i wasn't competent, was to do a totally global history of the middle ages. That's charlatanism if i'd try and do that.
