What's Your Takeaway From Google Cloud?
Discord is a big Google Cloud user. And they had shared a blog recently where they were talking about some work they had done to kind of build a data layer on top of Google Cloud's core storage primitives. They did that while staying laser focused on what they actually needed to build for their customers. That's what cloud should be, you know, not that we can't do cool things. We should do cool things, but they're doing cool things in the service of helping customers, not for its own sake.
