How I Learned to Work in Deep Learning
As an undergrad, I worked with SETI astronomers doing radio astronomy looking for aliens and this kind of thing. It's a little bit tricky because you could potentially spend your whole life searching and never find anything. Maybe it's the same as trying to interpret networks to find not find anything if they're looking for hurricanes. And maybe in general, a bunch of neurons are more messy, and they respond to lots of different things.
