The Bank of England's Inflation Figures and the Base Rate

5% rate is the highest we've had since, I think it's September 2008. It could be that 4.4 and a half, 5% is that new normal. This isn't a short sort of flash in the pan thing. This is maybe going towards what our normal is going to be. And then after that, when they, if we get inflation down, rates can sort of drop down as a result.
