How to Play Less Blitz Games

I get into this mentality of like calculating very shallowly and then having evaluation of that looks fine. So I've been trying to play less blitz and to do more intentional calculation work where I'm working through the best move. Those puzzles are nearly impossible for me, but they really forced me to calculate deeply. You gotta climb the tree a little bit higher to get to the good fruit or at least that's what I'm telling myself.
