How to Address the Barriers to Self Advocacy
i have learned so much because, although joy and i have our own individual stories, we didn't have all the information we needed to talk about how each special population could self advocate. And they give examples of individual students of from their populations. For my part on self advocacy, i chose to use the example of a young mon student I had from las her name is co. She was in fifth grade when i first met her, and she had been the first generation of her familyor formal education, formal schooling. Ah, but mostly her teachers had been just trying to get her to come out of her shell and feel accepted and a part of the group. So that was what co needed
