Is There a Flash Point in My Life as a Writer?
Pejor work is significant not just because there's nothing really like him left, but because he was the sort of part of an era. A singular style of writing that waso ized by a handful of real geniuses that doesn't really exist any more. And i think for us lowly journalists, its often reading somebody like this who explodes your idea of what writing can be. I hope other writers have these moments too,. When you read somebody's, you read a book, and you think, when you're in your formative years, and you thinking, i didn't know you were allowed to write like that."
