Is the Church Just a Club?

The name Jesus means God saves, and what is He saving us from? And my answer would be saving us from something evil. I wonder how people make sense of the fact that he himself was an exorcist. So could you say something about Jesus himself in the scriptures as we meet him there as an exorcist? Yeah,. I think there's a lot of people that downplay that role. They're just feeding into what they've already believed.
