I remember this distinctly, this family council about what it means to come in on time. And we wanted the children to help govern themselves. This would have never happened in my home growing up first of all. I'm really curious how that turned out. It could have been better to be honest. Fortunately, none of my children are here to say, yeah, I remember that family council did. Brad, you reminded me of this quote by Elder Uchtdorf. Is it wrong to have rules? Of course not. But it is wrong to focus only on rules instead of focusing on the Savior. You need to know the wise and the house and then consider the consequences of your choices
