The Difficulty of Writing a Book About the Kangorms

The author of a new book about the kangorms says she didn't want to write a copycat version of Nann Shepard's book. She said it was important for her "to be free to tell my own story and to look at the ways in which we not only intersect but we diverge" Maren O'Brien: I have a huge respect for her but I don't always agree with her so some of the time I'm challenging some of the received wisdom or some of the ideas that are out there.
