Who Is the Author?

We're not going to get hung up in debate about, did the actual gospel writer write the gospel? Is good debate, it's just not the point of what we're going to wrestle with. We want to ask, whois the author? Who is matthew? Who is mark? Who's luke? That's going to be a huge, huge issue. John's going to have a really unique position can influence his gospel. But i do believe that matthew has written first. I also blieve that matthew originally wrote in hebrew. There are no external evidence to suggest that Matthew has writen in m and yet there are some internal hints in the text.
