How Long Is 24 Hours a Day?

The ancient Babylonians and the ancient Egyptians divided their sundial into 12 sections, the 12 hours of the day. And so they had a 24 hour full day. Some other cultures have tried different things. There are like 10 segmented days in some regions of ancient China. But this 24 hours a day was the most widely used and so it's still stuck to this day.
