The only other genuine example of catacrite known to exist is kept in a museum in St. Petersburg. In 1985, Leonid Razen had scientifically reported and characterized the world standard specimen. Steinhardt tracked down Razen but he said he didn't remember how he acquired it. The trail went cold until an acquaintance at a dinner remembered Kocchick's widow.
