Are There Prerequisites for a Free Market Economy?

I think with the exception of Marx and every postmodern, every other philosopher says happiness is the goal of every action for a human being. So everywhere you look, you kind of see this same animal. I've worked in nonprofits for a very long time. We talk about the balance sheet in the nonprofit. We don't call it profit, we call it revenues in excess of expenses,. which last time I checked was profit, but because it's a not for profit, you can't use the word.
