Playing a Game Level

i'm always looking for different levels of analysis to unpack, how to look at a story to make it as good as it possibly can be. And one of the things that i stumbled upon was social theorist who is known really well in psychology circles, a guy named jean piege. He came up with the notion of looking at the world and looking at our movement through time as like a game level. What he meant by the game level is that when we played games, there are very strict rules of how you operate.
