The Chrono Master Jones Theory

The film is shot and scored like a horror movie. The editor at that point in the movie was like, I know what they're trying to do. And it explains his inexplicable, never commented on clearly magical amulet. Every scene has got something weird about it. It hangs on a face for a little too long after a punchline. There's no joke, there's no dialogue. You don't realize the invisible work that editing does until you see a movie where every shot is just off by a few seconds. When I saw the finished cut, I was like so embarrassed. So he has gone through and tried to fix it.
