Ospon's brainstorming process was actually a three step process. The first step was to get everybody into a very given value of everybody, get them talking about a problem and just come up with as many ideas as they possibly could. Step two was just go away and not think about it for a day. And the third step was to come back later, hopefully after overnight, go look at all the ideas you had and narrow it down to the one or two out of the entire spread that might actually solve the problem - diverge converse.
