The Hype Curve: AI in AI Winter
There is a model from Gartner, the consultancy called the hype curve. As they catch on, their adoption and interest accelerates until it reaches what they call the peak of inflated expectations. Do you think that there's going to come a point where the hype will exceed the reality and some sort of reaction we'll set in? I can see how something like Bitcoin or Web3 might be something that we could document on a hype curve, but superintelligence is something completely different.
