Plastic Surgery in Prisons
In the 80s federal guidelines about how to do prison plastic surgery were written out across America prisons. They found that only one in 18 people who had a nose job reoffended and numbers of reoffending were like 20 percent lower than you know the general prison population so they really felt that they'd had this kind of successful outcome. This was actually in a lot of UK prisons I think my research kind of shows maybe starting with wormwood scrubs like Grendan prison, which is still open today. It's not known for being somewhere that you'd want to go back to.
