The History of the Seljuk Empire

It is suggested in text that one of Hassan's hashashins successfully murdered Nissam al-Malik while he was travelling within the empire. Their name has been anglicised as Assassins and this is why we call such individual murders Assassinations. The death of Nissam Al-Malik signaled the end of the zenith of Seljuks power. His political and military reforms helped to maintain the stability and power of the Seljuks empire. Christian Crusaders summoned by the injured Byzantines posed a threat to almost in nations, forcing the room Turks eastwards. They also lost Aleppo to the Dannishmen during the 12th century.
